Comments About The Concert
I just wanted to take a minute and tell everyone who played in "One Voice" as well as the director, it sounded great. I didn't play (but was in the audience). I lost a very dear and long time friend to cancer a month before the concert and I just wasn't handling the situation very well. I regret not playing
very much, but John Kovach played my accordion in the concert and it was an honor to have him do so.
I must say, however, that after the concert, I was smiling and loving life again. It is amazing what music and especially accordion music can do for the soul. Seeing many old friends and remembering all the great times I had playing, teaching & singing with Mr. Van certainly did me some good as well!
